If you're anything like me, then there have been times you've faced loneliness in your life -- times when life has been a haze, times when you've cried your eyes out, times when you've felt truly lost.

Thankfully, we're human. Peculiar, reckless, imperfect humans.

And there's a God -- the God. The God who created the stars, lands, plants, animals, and breathtaking bodies of water that stretch on for thousands of miles. The God who is the ultimate Creator, and thought, that, hey, the world needed one of you and me, too. Isn't that amazing?

He's also the God who knew we'd be imperfect, yet created us anyway. And because of our tendencies towards sin, He willingly allowed His beloved Son to die so we might be saved. John 3:16 (ESV) confirms this, and states, So God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.

Salvation: God invites us to follow Him, and requests that we repent of our sins, believe in Him, confess our sins, and be baptized, according to James 5:16 and Acts 22:16. Jonathan @ Pure & Simple Bible has some excellent (free) online resources about this, too, and is always ready to discuss God and the Bible.

Church: To search for a congregation near you, I recommend this map. If you are unable to find one, feel free to contact me, and I will do my very best to assist you.

And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on His name.

  1. I am so happy to see another sister on the blogosphere! Yes to all of this, and Acts 22:16 was one of the major verses that made me re-think my Christianity and see the truth in His word <3
